Spring has arrived and it’s here with a BANG! The first proposal of Spring was an absolute beauty, and this one is extra special to me for so many reasons!! Not only did I have a blast meeting with Brian before the proposal and listening to his super sweet plan to pop the question, but I had so much fun with these two during their post-proposal portraits! And I already felt connected to this fun couple because a few years ago, I shot Toni’s sister’s New York City proposal!! To be the photog for both magical moments for these sisters makes me so emotional 🙂

Brian created the most detailed and elaborate plan to propose to Toni and the more he told me about it, the more I loved it!! With the help of sister Nicole (Happy belated birthday!!!) Toni was out of the house and allowed Brian to set up an entire scavenger hunt…filled with sweet clues and the most amazing props and photos that meant so much to them. The final clue led Toni to the back deck of their home, where Brian was revealed (the Voice fans will love this part!) and he dropped to one knee. His speech, Toni’s total surprise and shock (I love when the proposee doesn’t see it coming!!) made this one of the sweetest proposals I’ve been honored enough to capture. Topping it off with a champagne pop and some fun twirls under twinkle lights, I loved every moment of this proposal!! Congratulations, Toni & Brian! xo
