Learning about my couples’ love stories before or at their engagement session truly brings the session full circle!! Not only do my clients light up when talking about how and where they met their love, but it tells me SO much about the couple themselves. And because I encourage my clients to plan for more than one engagement session location, a lot of the time we are able to take portraits at the very spot where these sweet couples met or got engaged!! So when Tayler and Chris told me they wanted to take some portraits at the high school where they met, I couldn’t hide my excitement; and while it took a little maneuvering and then some extra help from a family friend who works at the school, we DID IT! We were even able to get some pretty shots of Tayler and Chris under the hallway where they used to see each other in school…so cute!! And while the temperature seriously dropped by the time we arrived at our second location (their wedding venue!) these two were TROOPERS and battled the cold for one of the glowiest, most beautiful Spring sunsets I’ve witnessed in my career. Love this couple, love these IMAGES!! Fingers crossed for warmer weather and gorgeous blooms at their March wedding next year!! xo
