I have been waiting for this Bar Mitzvah for months!!! You’ll recognize Tani from other events we’ve shot…from his quirky dance moves to his fun facial expressions! So when his parents booked me for his Bar Mitzvah, I knew it would be a blast. In situations like this one, where I get to interact with the clients leading up to the event, I get to know them and their personalities even better; so by the day of Tani’s event, I knew exactly how I’d pose him to show off his style, how to get him to be comfortable with me and how to pull that fun personality out (not that he needed help!!) Photographing people at this age is not easy, especially when the goal is to have their portraits radiate with their character and uniqueness, but Tani was a breeze and each smile was truly genuine. We started with some brotherly portraits and their goofiness set the tone for the day and the smiles lasted until the very end!! With a Mets-colored theme (and some of the most breathtaking flower decor I’ve ever seen) Tani celebrated in style surrounded by family and friends!!
