When I say that I connect with each and every one of my clients, it’s true!! Whether it’s over common interests, inside jokes, heartwarming stories or simply just similar styles, I always take my booked events and make them more than just business deals. When I first met Talia’s family for their pre-event portraits, it wasn’t hard to find that connection; with so much humor and genuine happiness, we all meshed perfectly. And with that real connection, their portraits revealed authentic smiles, belly laughs and all-around real joy!! I’ve said it a million times, but no matter how phenomenal your portraits are, a pretty photo does not have the same value as one that radiates with your client’s true personality and character. Deep but so very true! So when I started to get to know sweet Talia, I realized she was not only a brilliant young lady but an interesting one to boot! When mom and dad told me that she was a lover of books, I knew that was our connection. You’re either a reader or you’re not, and very seldom does that change. When I was little, I would always be found hiding somewhere with a book (Nancy Drew to be specific!) It makes me so happy that there are smart, curious girls like Talia out there who may be timid but are confident and who are always on the hunt to learn something new. These girls change the world!
