When I first started shooting proposals, I never imagined how absolutely incredible the journey would be!! Of the last 30 proposals we’ve shot, 28 of the clients have been from out-of-state or country and each love story has been as uniquely beautiful as the couples themselves!! Aside from welcoming clients from all over, it’s always so amazing to hear the vision our guys have for popping the question. When Cullum reached out to me and said he wanted to propose under the famous Rockefeller Christmas tree, I loved it but I hesitated in planning it because I knew I could plan something even bigger (yes, greater than the tree!!) One of my favorite aspects of this business is the fact that I try to create the most unique and personal experiences possible for my clients…no typical proposals here!! So with hundreds of proposals happening under the tree every day, I wanted to do more for Cullum and his girlfriend Sara. One of the prettiest views of the tree is right from 5th Avenue, at the very beginning of the pretty Promenade gardens…a challenging but unbelievably beautiful location and perfect for our proposal!! So with a lot of planning and with the help of both Cullum and Sara’s families (who secretly flew in!!), this proposal went as beautifully as imagined. Just flawless!! And the only thing better than witnessing Sara say yes to her longtime love was getting to know these two during their post-proposal portraits. So sweet and genuine, their happiness is just radiant!! I loved getting to spend time with this amazing couple and their fabulous families…what a dream!!
