The love I’ve been blessed enough to witness in my career has been as inspiring as it is beautiful. I’ve met couples from all over the world, heard each one of their unique love stories and got to celebrate their milestones with them…whether it was their proposal, engagement session, wedding or their anniversary. But the love story of Chris and Olivia has brought so much more life and beauty and freshness into my life and career. Not only have I gotten to know Chris and Olivia and their sweet history, but I’ve been a part of so many special moments for these two!! From their engagement session (the very same spot where we took their wedding portraits!) to Olivia’s bridal shower and even sessions with their family and friends…I’ve gotten to know and LOVE these two!! Olivia and Chris truly put the “sweetheart” in high school sweethearts. Hearing about how they fell in love and seeing them interact now makes this one of the greatest love stories we’ve ever had to pleasure of capturing!! And because shooting just one wedding with this beautiful couple wasn’t quite just enough…they had TWO!! You read that right…Olivia and Chris celebrated two ceremonies across two days. And the radiant love and joy became greater as each day unfolded. Between the timeless and elegant church wedding on day one and the dreamy and delicate beach wedding on the second day, this celebration was a dream.

After tying the knot in a classic and sleek strapless dress, Olivia stunned again in a lacy, backless dress for ceremony number two. With a color palette of nude, blush and white and hints of gold, the details of their beach wedding reflected the romance of the day in every way. My favorite part of this wedding? I have two! 1. The way Chris looked at Olivia in ALL of their portraits (tearing up now!) 2. The fact that the entire day, we dodged thunderstorms and flood advisories and at the perfect time during the reception, one of the most beautiful sunsets I’ve witnessed greeted us just before the sun set over the water. UNREAL! and 3. I will never get over how, during portraits, Olivia and Chris always look like they truly feel like the only ones in the room (or on the beach)…it’s such a simple observation but it means everything; true soulmates!! I am so happy to have witnessed and been able to share in both their big days and now that I’ve teared up three times in course of writing this up, I can share with you all and allow their love story to bring tears to YOUR eyes!
