My bonds with my couples, especially my brides are the driving force behind this business and what makes my work everything that it is! In the years, months and weeks leading up to every wedding, I spend so much time getting to know each bride’s vision, the significance of each detail of their big day and really what makes their soul smile. Most of my brides are actually former bridesmaids from other weddings we’ve shot so seeing them all again is like the greatest reunion! But my bond with this beautiful big day is unique and super special to me and for the sweetest reason, ever! Meghan and I grew up as firehouse kids; our dads worked together since we were tiny and so we bonded over the fact that not only did we have the literal coolest childhood, but we were SO incredibly blessed with the greatest dads two girls could ask for. I’m so lucky to know families like Meghan and Ryan’s, but having known them my whole life just makes it the realest blessing. So being able to witness and capture this extra special wedding made this experience one of the most meaningful and significant of my career and my life! To see a couple and family you respect so much on the happiest days of their lives is a joy that makes me the proudest photographer out there.
