I love how the day of this stunning proposal, it was SO unbelievably hot and bright out and ironically this blog post day is a total dreary washout!! I might just jinx myself but to-date, not a single one of our proposals have been affected by bad weather so I’ll take today as a sign of continued good luck! I absolutely loved this proposal, for obvious reasons (how cute are Megan and Evan!?) but especially because the actual proposal spot was so unique. Evan first told me of his vision of the moment and we went back and forth on locations. When he did a site visit of his own and sent me photos, I wanted to make sure that we limited our risk of having touristy, unintentional photo bombers as much as possible. In the world of surprise proposals, location and backdrop are everything, but with those come crowds…because if it’s so gorgeous that you’d want to ask the girl of your dreams to marry you there, it’s guaranteed that someone else wants to take an iPhone photo in the same exact spot at the same exact time 😉 So with the help of google street view, I found this little pocket of privacy, sent my recommendation off to Evan and it was a go!! With an small audience of close friends, Evan got down on one knee!! Flawless!!
