I have said it since the very beginning stages of this beautiful business and I swear, I will NEVER stop saying it…my clients are truly the most wonderful people on Earth. Everything from their energy to their senses of humor and their good hearts…I am so unbelievably blessed to be surrounded with so many kind souls!! The only thing more amazing than my sweet clients themselves is their unwavering trust in me as their photographer and friend. Knowing that people are placing their most important days in your hands and doing so with confidence makes me the proudest business owner and overall human being. So on session days that are rainy, snowy (the bad kind…not the good, pretty kind!) or otherwise less than ideal, my clients never question my judgement of rain checking their session because, well, I refuse to settle for a less than beautiful day for my couples!! But when your couple is faced with THREE rain dates of horrendous weather, you’d imagine that trust would falter, right? Not our ATWP couples!! When Joseph and Lindsey’s engagement session was rained out and snowed out three times, I promised them that not only would the fourth time be a charm, but that we will be SO glad and grateful for the glowy gorgeousness of the day to come and all this horrific weather and rescheduling would be worth it!! And thanks to their AMAZING patience, faith in me and their inspiringly upbeat and fun personalities, their engagement session was as flawless as they come. It’s like the day was just made for them!! Everything from the private location (actually, we almost got parking tickets, but that’s ok!) to Lindsey’s outfit, to the perfect balance of overcast and sunset shimmer, this session was one of my favorites of all time. All time!! And while we fought so hard to make this pretty session happen (across two days, in two parts!!) not once did this incredible couple stop making me laugh. They encompass every quality that I truly love about my couples and it just doesn’t get any more inspiring than that. I cannot wait to shoot their wedding in September!
