The best part of shooting in Central Park is there are SO many different locations with so much variation. If your clients want a natural backdrop, there are private and lush walking trails; if your clients want more architecture, you can easily position them in a spot with beautiful skyline views. Most of our proposal clients are tourists, so scheduling a day to propose and then actually having an excuse to get the lucky lady (or guy!) to the proposal spot without him/her being suspicious is the biggest challenge. Very often, we’ll choose a spot based on its proximity to another place of interest just so that the proposal literally is “on the way” to whatever the couple has planned for that day!! Kasey decide that he was going to take Jen to the Central Park Zoo the day of the proposal, so of course we naturally chose a landmark close by for him to get down on one knee!! Gaptsow Bridge is one of the most famous bridges in New York; it’s been in movies and on tv and it’s nestled in a pretty area of the park that is very quiet in the morning. These two were literally the only ones on the bridge! Another breathtaking and intimate proposal. She said YES!!
