Over the years, I’ve come to realize that it’s not just our style of photography that attracts the amazing and unique clients we book with, but it’s our similar energy, temperament and the way we view life. Looking back, every bride I’ve ever worked with has been genuine, selfless and sincere. We are real and so are our couples! Leanne and Joe completely epitomize this theory. Although I had previously met Leanne, their engagement session was my first time meeting Joe and I completely saw how meant for each other they were. They were so affectionate and gentle…and Joe could not stop looking at Leanne!! Their sweet bond and mellow demeanors made it possible for me to connect with them and bring out their authentic selves in every portrait…the key to a successful session! I connected with these two so well, that it felt like I was just strolling with two friends…so great!

Leanne and Joe chose to have their engagement session at the walking trail where Joe proposed…a pretty, paved walk under a cove of already changing leaves! Because it was a sunrise session, it was SO chilly but this made a gorgeous mist all over the ground…and as soon as I got out of my car, I fell in love with the dewy,hazy light coming over a field by the trail, so of course I had Leanne and Joe get right in there!! By the end of our session, the sun was completely up and we were able to thaw! So worth the goosebumps!
