When I meet my couples for the first time, usually at our initial meeting or their engagement session, I can get a pretty good sense of who they are and what their unique style is. Knowing what they like and especially what they don’t like or what they’re insecure about helps me, as a photographer, capture their absolute best selves come wedding day. From the moment I met Daniel and Christine at their engagement session (remember their sweet dogs with the bowties!!?) I picked up on their styles and who they are immediately!! They are so mellow but had such a strong vision for their wedding day that I knew this wedding would be uniquely beautiful. First, there’s something about mint/teal that just photographs so unbelievably beautifully; it’s one of those classic wedding colors that will never go out of style so when I walked into the bridal suite to see it matching Christine and Daniel’s colors, I couldn’t hide my excitement. As a photographer, good light is vital for beautiful and radiant images, especially during bridal prep. I have yet to see a bridal suite so spacious and so light and airy!! While Christine and the girls were getting their hair and makeup done, I was actually able to take extra time and stage her dress throughout the room, along with every other delicate and pretty detail. Because I had a great idea of Christine’s taste, I knew her jewelry and other details would be gorgeous, but come wedding day I was so blown away!! Each detail and aspect of this wedding was breathtaking…literally!! From the engravings inside their wedding bands to the unique firework/flower design on Christine’s dress, this wedding is one of my all-time favorites. What a couple, what a love story and what a wedding!
