We seriously have the most beautiful clients…both inside and out!! While editing Brii and Vinny’s gorgeous sunrise engagement session this week, the doorbell rang and I answered it to find a breathtaking flower delivery!! Can you believe these two sent me flowers and a sweet note to thank me for their fun session??! As if I couldn’t love this couple any more, they totally made my entire week 🙂 Their thoughtful blooms are now on my desk and serve as a reminder of how incredibly lucky I am to have such stars for clients!!

Brii and Vinny chose an early sunrise session for their engagement portraits (yes for AM sessions!!) and they totally reaped the benefits. I always say that sunrise sessions make for crisper, more glowy portraits than sunset sessions and this blog post is proof!! We started shooting just as the sun was peeking up over the ridge and since we chose a pretty location by the water, we got to soak in all that pretty light reflecting off the water. I always tell my clients upfront that our shooting and editing style is very natural. Very seldom do I utilized photoshop and our editing is often little more than increasing exposure, bumping up the color and adjusting the tone of portraits where my kelvin settings were off. That’s IT! What you see is true to what we saw at the session…no overediting or exaggerating necessary. So when I say that Brii and Vinny’s incredible portraits are authentically stunning, it’s no lie!! These two were SO super sweet and laid back and despite the warmth of these images, it was COLD!! I couldn’t believe how stoic this couple was despite the wind chill (seriously, the gusts were painful). I always tell my clients that I will do literally whatever it takes to get a beautiful shot and clearly this wedding photographer-bride-and-groom-duo is a match made in heaven because they were right there with me!! One of the other fun aspects of this session? Brii and Vinny are having a May wedding and thought it would be fun to have Fall engagement portraits…I love that!! Cannot wait for their big day…so much more beauty and love to come!!
