Of all the incredible Bar/Bat Mitzvahs I’ve ever shot, this one was absolutely full of firsts!! I’m familiar with sessions featuring pets but I have NEVER in my career had a family bring their bunny for pre-party portraits!! A BUNNY! This family was fun to begin with, so having this sweet guy incorporated into family portraits added instant cuteness and made for genuine, real smiles and laughs. A photographer’s dream!! In addition to this fun start to the day, this gorgeous Bar Mitzvah featured some of the most amazing and expressive dance moves I’ve seen…which is why it’s our biggest preview, EVER! The sweetest moment of Aryeh’s event? This polite guy took the time to stop partying with his friends to thank me personally for doing the photos of his event…the absolute sweetest!! It was such a pleasure working with and capturing the personalities of this family and witnessing the raw emotion that made this party so wonderful. Everyone’s pride is so apparent in every image.
