The greatest compliment I can receive from my clients and their guests (aside from that our photos are beautiful!) is that we were great to work with; the adjectives I’ve been described as that make me genuinely proud of the job I did are: patient, bubbly, calm and energetic. If you really think about it, any vendor who not only is easy to work with but makes the clients’ day better is the ultimate home run and that’s what we aim to be at every event and session we shoot. The age of the serious, intimidating photographer who never smiles and throws everyone together for a portrait without knowing who they are should be over but it’s not, and that’s why the experience with us is different. Not only do I know all of my clients somehow, either personally or through someone else, but the aspiration to build a deeper relationship with each couple makes each portrait at each wedding and session so personal that I just couldn’t possibly replicate it had they been total strangers or had I not taken the time to get to know them! I’ve known groom Jarrod since we were tiny…we actually went to Sunday School, grammar school, middle school and high school together! So after all the years I’ve known him, come wedding day, it was like seeing a friend. I had done Jarrod and Katline’s engagement session last year, so I also had already met this gorgeous bride and of course the connection was instant!! Not only was Katline so mellow and sweet during the engagement session, but when I first saw her on the wedding day, she might actually have been even calmer!! It’s so rare to find a couple with such calm demeanors that bridal prep is actually quiet and slow…and these two defined it!! Surrounded by the utmost love and joy of their families and friends, Jarrod and Katline exchanged the vows they wrote for each other.
