While so much has changed within this business since my first wedding in 2009, the one thing that truly catapulted my ability to reach my couples and better perform this job that I love so much has been our bridal guide. I first introduced this helpful publication in 2015 and 5 editions later, it’s not only grown in size but it’s evolved into the greatest tool for my incredible clients. The knowledge and tips on these pages are invaluable; they help my brides and grooms make the absolute most of their experience with me…from booking, to their engagement session, to the actual big day and all the way through album design. This bridal guide takes my couple’s experiences with me and ATWP to an entirely new level. And that’s something I am SO proud of. Because 2020 was such an emotional rollercoaster for all of us, especially our couples who had to re-schedule their weddings SO many times, I wanted to choose a cover that brought joy and brought warmth and a sense of calm. What’s everyone’s favorite place?! THE BEACH! I loved this LBI, New Jersey wedding so much that it was a no-brainer when it came to being the cover feature. It’s bright, colorful and I can practically hear the ocean waves just looking at this image! I also continued the warm, beachy theme by incorporating images from the same wedding throughout the guide. It makes me so happy just flipping through and catching glimpses of sand and sun!

The layout of our 2021 bridal guide is similar to the TOC in guides past, but with updated images and more vibrant font and colors. I wanted to feature a wedding with blue first because I truly believe that blue has the ability to calm! Envisioning a bride opening up her guide and taking in this first page made me want her to feel calm, relaxed all-the-while excited for what’s to come. The 3-image layout feature has been a theme in my business and branding for years…it matches the masthead image on my website AND my business cards!

I updated perhaps the most important aspect of this entire book! Your wedding timeline is everything. It doesn’t just affect your wedding day, it IS your wedding day! How the day will unfold directly impacts everything; from bridal prep, to the ceremony, to the transition time from church to reception venue, all the way down to cake cutting time. My bride’s ability to understand how photography works and falls in the timeline helps me and my second or third shooters tremendously. And knowing what to expect will help  you to stay calm and take in every moment of this beautiful big day!

M E E T  A L E X A N D R A

It’s always been my objective to be candid and open with my clients. I want them to know me, to feel comfortable with me and to see me as anything but a business transaction. Every image I take at every session or wedding has a world of emotion attached…when I’m working with clients, the energy that’s all around, the laughter, the joy…that is something I immerse myself in and it makes my work as genuine and as real as it is. When your clients feel such a level of comfort, they LOOK different in their images! They’re confident and candid. Their laughter is genuine and they are letting their true souls shine through. I love that! And I help to bring that out the best way I can…by being my true self with them.

B R I D A L  P R E P

One of the most FUN parts of a wedding day!! Bridal prep is how our day together begins and it sets the tone for all the fun and emotion to come. I LOVE bridal prep because I get to hang with the girls and chit chat while documenting every beautiful detail…from your shoes to your wedding bands, to your something blue. A mix of candids and posed portraits make this pre-ceremony time together tender and filled with laughter and excitement. The bridal prep portion of the guide helps explain what I’ll be doing from the moment I arrive, to the delicate way I’ll be capturing your bridal portraits once you’re in your gorgeous dress!

P O R T R A I T S

Coordinating a location and timing for portraits with my couples makes the day a BREEZE and ensures smooth transitioning from one part of the day to the next. Family portraits, bridal party portraits and bride and groom only portraits will all be perfectly planned prior to the wedding day and lists of family members’ names will also be gathered for ease and convenience! I love giving my couples tips for easy portrait planning because for most, this is the most stressful part of the day. Not for my couples! Our multiple portrait sections provide SO much information and guidance to ensure swift portraits…and happy family/guests who won’t miss much, if any, of cocktail hour! Super easy!

Destination weddings have been a huge part of my career and I knew that I had to showcase the love and beauty I’ve been able to capture from all over the world in this newest publication. I made sure to feature these beautiful weddings with full spread imagery to let the portraits speak for themselves. Oh, the joy these big features bring me! I’m so optimistic that one day soon, we’ll be back on a flight, camera in tow for the next destination wedding!
